Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Relativistic Time Transfer for Inter-Satellite Links

open access: yesFrontiers in Astronomy and Space Sciences, 2016
Inter-Satellite links (ISLs) will be an important technique for a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) in the future. Based on the principles of general relativity, the time transfer in an ISL is modeled and the algorithm for onboard computation is ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Basic theory of differential equations with linear perturbations of second type on time scales

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2019
In this paper, we develop the theory of differential equations with linear perturbations of second type on time scales. An existence theorem for differential equations with linear perturbations of second type on time scales is given under D $\mathscr{D}$

Feature-based comparison and generation of time series

open access: yesProceedings of the 30th International Conference on Scientific and Statistical Database Management, 2018
For more than three decades, researchers have been developping generation methods for the weather, energy, and economic domain. These methods provide generated datasets for reasons like system evaluation and data availability. However, despite the variety of approaches, there is no comparative and cross-domain assessment of generation methods and their
