Conversion of frequency-domain data to the time domain
Proceedings of the IEEE, 1986The advantages and disadvantages of three different algorithms for transforming frequency-domain data to the time domain are reviewed. The algorithms are a direct computation of the Fourier series, the fast Fourier transform, and the chirp-z transform.

Nonlinear time-domain modeling by multiresolution time domain (MRTD)
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1997A multiresolution time-domain (MRTD) scheme based on the expansion in scaling functions is applied to the modeling of nonlinear pulse propagation. Appropriate absorbers for the MRTD scheme are presented and their performance is discussed. The differences using pulse functions and nonlocalized basis functions like the Battle-Lemarie scaling functions ...

Edge magnetoplasmons in the time domain
Physical Review B, 1992We have studied edge magnetoplasmons (EMP's) created by pulses of 100 ps width in a high-mobility two-dimensional electron gas, using a cryogenic transistor. We find that magnetoplasmon motion along the edge occurs only in the direction expected for negatively charged electrons; there is no hint of propagation in the opposite direction expected for ...

Many of the data sets which might best be handled by one of the approaches of the previous chapters would often be treated by a classical time series analysis, assuming a normal distribution. Most often, this simply amounts to fitting a multiple regression, with (a dynamic model) or without (a static model) lagged variables. Checks are then made on the
