We present design considerations for animated transitions of the appearance of 3D spatial datasets in a hybrid Augmented Reality‐desktop context. Such hybrid interfaces combine both traditional and immersive displays to facilitate the exploration of 2D and 3D data representations in the environment in which they are best displayed.

The commercialization of labour markets: Evidence from wage inequality in the Middle Ages
Abstract This paper moves beyond the focus on ‘average’ wage trends in pre‐industrial economies by examining the broad diversity of pay rates and forms of remuneration across occupations and regions in medieval England. We find that whilst some workers enjoyed substantial growth in wage rates after the Black Death, there was a large group who ...

Abstract The search for evidence in public management and the implementation of good management by public bodies is becoming increasingly important, and the principles of effectiveness and efficiency should be reinforced. Therefore, this paper aims to analyse the change in efficiency in the provision of public lighting services by local governments ...

3SD: Rotational symmetry single‐shot denoising in fluorescence microscopy
Abstract Image noise is a fundamental problem in fluorescence microscopy analysis, especially in live cell imaging applications where the number of detected photons is limited due to low power of excitation lasers to prevent phototoxicity during extended imaging experiments.
