Position-Based Nonlinear Gauss-Seidel for Quasistatic Hyperelasticity
Position based dynamics [Müller et al. 2007] is a powerful technique for simulating a variety of materials. Its primary strength is its robustness when run with limited computational budget.

Melanin content directly controls fungal spore mechanical properties, with pigmented spores achieving rupture forces two orders of magnitude higher than hyaline spores. Environmental stress drives this quantity‐quality tradeoff; stressed species invest energy in melanin‐reinforced, mechanically superior thick‐walled, super‐hydrophobic spores, while ...

A gas‐fed, zero‐gap, PEM CO2 electrolyzer is realized by incorporating PDDA+ ions onto the carbonaceous Co/N‐C electrocatalyst, with gaseous H2 and CO2 fed into the anode and cathode, respectively. Operating without an aqueous electrolyte, the system sustains a peak FECO of 65.1% at 100 mA cm−2. ABSTRACT Electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction (ECO2R)

Unified Pressure and Field Response Across Distinct Charge‐Order Regimes in Ti‐Doped CsV3Sb5
We microscopically investigate the interplay between charge order and superconductivity in a kagome superconductor across regimes of long‐ and short‐range charge order. Hydrostatic‐pressure and magnetic‐field μSR$\mu{\rm SR}$ measurements reveal remarkably similar superconducting and normal‐state time‐reversal‐symmetry‐breaking responses in both ...

Conversion‐induced sulfur expansion generates strong mechanical constraints and localized stresses within solid‐state Li‐S cathodes. Heterogeneous solid‐electrolyte confinement creates tensile strain‐energy hotspots that govern particle cracking. Larger sulfur particles accelerate fracture, while higher porosity relaxes constraint and delays damage ...

GeS as an Emerging OTS Material: Atomic Structure and Modeling of ON/OFF Switching
The structural puzzle of glassy GeS, an advanced memory‐selector material, has finally been disentangled, revealing a patchwork of mixed tetrahedral and trigonal species. Under a high electric field, over‐ and under‐coordinated Ge and S defects, together with three‐membered rings, form an interconnected network associated with localized and extended ...

Melaka Network Overcurrent Protection & Coordination Analysis Using PSCAD Software
This paper presents a study on the modeling of the 132/33/11kV PMU Pulau Gadong network and the Melaka radial distribution feeder. The study proposes a protection scheme by providing the appropriate relay Pickup current/Plug Setting (PS) and Time ...
