Verification of Timed Automata with Deadlines in Uppaal [PDF]
Timed Automata with Deadlines (TAD) is a notation to model concurrent real-time systems that has a number of advantages over mainstream Timed Automata (TA). The semantics of deadlines and synchronisation rule out the most common form of timelocks, making

Many studies have examined methods for estrous synchrony in beef cows, yet very little controlled research has addressed the interaction between postpartum energy intake and synchrony system. The objectives of this study were to compare the effectiveness

Sperm Recovery and Evaluation in Domestic Species: Challenges and Current Practices
ABSTRACT Semen collection is a key step in the development of assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs) in domestic mammals, as the collection method determines the functionality and fertility of the sperm. The artificial vagina or manual collection yields ejaculates similar to those obtained during natural mating, although they require prior training ...

Control of estrus and ovulation: Fertility to timed insemination of gilts and sows
It is possible to control follicular development in gilts and sows with the use of hormones including the progestogen altrenogest, GnRH, eCG, hCG, and porcine luteinizing hormone (pLH).

ABSTRACT The efficiency of AI in sheep depends partly on maintaining sperm function during storage. This study compared INRA 96 and a skim milk‐based formulation for storing ram semen at 15°C for 6 h, evaluating sperm quality and IVF and field fertility outcomes. INRA 96 showed higher VCL, ALH, and sperm viability after 6 h of storage.

ABSTRACT Efficient reproductive management in commercial swine production requires minimising non‐productive days and ensuring rapid return to oestrus after weaning. The present study evaluated the effect of pre‐weaning administration of cloprostenol, a PGF2α analogue, on early reproductive indicators in sows under commercial farm conditions.
