Time Synchronization in SpaceFibre Networks
2021 28th Conference of Open Innovations Association (FRUCT), 2021Real-time requirements are actual for most aerospace systems. Time synchronization in all network devices needs for implementation of real-time mechanisms. The SpaceFibre standard is developed for aerospace networks. But current version of this standard does not include any time synchronization mechanism. In this paper, we consider time synchronization

Synchronized Recursive Timed Automata
2015We present synchronized recursive timed automata SRTA that extend timed automata with a stack. Each frame of a stack is composed of rational-valued clocks, and SRTA synchronously increase the values of all the clocks within the stack. Our main contribution is to show that the reachability problem of SRTA is ExpTime-complete. This decidability contrasts

Internet time synchronization: the network time protocol
IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1991The network time protocol (NTP), which is designed to distribute time information in a large, diverse system, is described. It uses a symmetric architecture in which a distributed subnet of time servers operating in a self-organizing, hierarchical configuration synchronizes local clocks within the subnet and to national time standards via wire, radio ...

Time synchronization protocol for 6LoWPAN
2013 International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communications and Informatics (ICACCI), 2013The future is seen as place where all perceivable objects will have a layer of digital connectivity. The concept of Internet of Things involves connecting devices embedded with microcontrollers such as sensors to IP based networks. 6LoWPAN is a new set of standard for IPv6 connectivity over such low power wireless personal area networks.

2017
The seventh chapter retraces the encounter of the French philosopher Daniel Bensaid and the work of Walter Benjamin, that reveals a resonance between two crucial turns of the twentieth century—1940 and 1990—through a vision of history based on the idea of remembrance.

Timing measurements of synchronization circuits
Ninth International Symposium on Asynchronous Circuits and Systems, 2003. Proceedings., 2003A regular (two-flop) synchronizer and six multi-synchronous synchronizers are implemented on a programmable logic device and are measured. An experimental system and method for measuring synchronizers and metastable flip-flops are described. Two separate settling time constants are shown for a metastable flop, confirming earlier results of Dike and ...

Synchronization of time-delayed systems
Physical Review E, 2007In this paper we study synchronization in linearly coupled time-delayed systems. We first consider coupled nonidentical Ikeda systems with a square wave coupling rate. Using the theory of the time-delayed equation, we derive less restrictive synchronization conditions than those resulting from the Krasovskii-Lyapunov theory [Yang Kuang, (Academic Press,

The flooding time synchronization protocol
Proceedings of the 2nd international conference on Embedded networked sensor systems, 2004Wireless sensor network applications, similarly to other distributed systems, often require a scalable time synchronization service enabling data consistency and coordination. This paper describes the Flooding Time Synchronization Protocol (FTSP), especially tailored for applications requiring stringent precision on resource limited wireless platforms.

Timing aspects of synchronous CDMA
5th IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, Wireless Networks - Catching the Mobile Future., 2002Two different techniques are introduced that can be used to synchronize a CDMA system for both the uplink and the downlink. The advantage of synchronous CDMA is that multi-user interference can be eliminated for the dominant path signals by employing orthogonal codes. The main difficulty of synchronous CDMA is the synchronization of the uplink.

Modeling synchronized time series
Proceedings of the Fourteenth International Database Engineering & Applications Symposium on - IDEAS '10, 2010We consider the class of applications that manage time series (TS) and propose a data model and a query language that let these applications manipulate TS data sets at a logical level. We introduce the concept of synchronized time series (STS) to model the alignment of several time series in a common time space.
