To fill a connected area of a digital image is to change the color of all and only those pixels in the area. Fill algorithms for areas defined by sharp boundaries (e.g., a white area surrounded by a black curve) have been implemented at several color computer graphics installations.

The tint of 431 white textile samples is visually assessed by 6 colorists. Tristimulus values based on measured spectral radiance factors of the samples are calculated for the CIE 1931 standard colorimetric observer and the CIE 1964 supplementary standard colorimetric observer.

AbstractThis paper deals with the kinetics of tint transfer in soft contact lenses. A mathematical model taking into account both diffusion and chemical reactions is proposed and physicochemical parameters are determined. It is shown that bulk tinting is more effective in practice than surface tinting.
