Influence of TiO2 layer thickness as photoanode in Dye Sensitized Solar Cells [PDF]
Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) are categorized as some of inexpensive thin-film solar cells. The basis and foundation of these cells is a semiconductor that consists of an electrolyte and a light-sensitive anode.

Dynamics of Photogenerated Charge Carriers in TiO2/MoO3, TiO2/WO3 and TiO2/V2O5 Photocatalysts with Mosaic Structure [PDF]
Titania is a widely used photocatalytic material possessing such advantages as low cost and high reactivity under the ultraviolet light illumination. However, the fast recombination of photoexcited charge carriers limits its application. Herein, we have synthesized original nanomaterials with mosaic structures that exhibited well-defined ...

Multilayered TiO2/TiO2−x/TiO2 films deposited by reactive sputtering for photocatalytic applications
Multilayered TiO2/TiO2−x/TiO2 films, deposited by twenty periodical interruptions of O2 flow during reactive sputtering deposition were submitted to photocatalytic tests and characterized. The O2 flow interruptions lasted 10 s, 38 s, 45 s, and 70 s, while the regular flow periods lasted 540 s.
