Photochemical UV/TiO2 treatment of olive mill wastewater (OMW) [PDF]
Olive mill wastewater (OMW) was treated by photocatalysis using TiO2 under UV irradiation on the laboratory scale. The chemical oxygen demand, the coloration at 330 nm, and the level of phenols all showed decreases which, after a 24-h treatment, reached ...

Titanium Suboxides Responsible for Electronic Anomaly Near Room Temperature in the Ti3C2Tx MXene
Our multi‐technique study reveals that the near‐room‐temperature anomaly in Ti3C2Tx MXene is linked to titanium suboxide nanodomains, including Ti3O5, embedded within the MXene host. Their temperature‐driven transformation provides an alternative explanation to solvent‐ and swelling‐based models and offers new insight into the thermally activated ...

Comparison of bandgap edge of TiO2, Cu doped TiO2 and new Cu/TiO2-Phetolocyanin nanocomposite [PDF]
In this study, copper-doped titanium dioxide nanoparticles and hybrid nanocomposites containing copper-doped titanium dioxide and phthalocyanine pigment (Cu3%TiO2-Pc) were synthesized to modify the titanium dioxide bond gap. Doped TiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized with a 3% mole of copper and pigment (Pc) by the alkoxide sol-gel method.

An effective strategy is developed to overcome the medium temperatures wear resistance degradation in refractory multi‐principal element alloys. By utilizing chemical short‐range ordering to trigger oxygen‐induced amorphization, a composite oxide structure is formed, which combines high hardness with robust stiffness.

Designed Lewis Acid–Base Passivation for High Performance Perovskite Solar Cells
ABSTRACT Silicon's high cost and long energy payback time remain major barriers to the global expansion of solar power. In contrast, metal–halide perovskites offer abundant, solution‐processable absorbers, and have achieved efficiencies of 25%–30%, positioning them as strong competitors to silicon.
