Fluorine-Induced Superhydrophilic TiO2 Nanotube Arrays
Volume 1: Micro/Nanofluidics and Lab-on-a-Chip; Nanofluids; Micro/Nanoscale Interfacial Transport Phenomena; Micro/Nanoscale Boiling and Condensation Heat Transfer; Micro/Nanoscale Thermal Radiation; Micro/Nanoscale Energy Devices and Systems, 2016Continuous water film formed on a hydrophilic or superhydrophilic surface can delay the formation of a vapor film in boiling and thus improve critical heat flux (CHF), therefore, the fabrication of hydrophilic or superhydrophilic surface is an efficient approach to enhance boiling heat transfer.

Strength of self-organized TiO2 nanotube arrays
Acta Materialia, 2010Abstract Self-organized titanium oxide (TiO2) nanotube arrays were formed by an anodic oxidization technique. Nanoindentation experiments were conducted using three different indenters (i.e. flat punch, cone and triangular pyramid) to explore the mechanics governing the strength of the TiO2 nanotubes.

Photocatalytic microreactor using anodized TiO2 nanotube array
Advanced Powder Technology, 2018Abstract Photocatalytic microreactor using an anodized TiO2 nanotube/Ti bi-layered plate was fabricated. The inner diameter and length of TiO2 nanotube were controllable by the anodization voltage and time. The photocatalytic reduction of p-nitrophenol was conducted in the microreactor.

TiO2 nanotube arrays: intrinsic peroxidase mimetics
Chemical Communications, 2013TiO2 nanotube arrays (NTA), prepared by potentiostatic anodization, were discovered to possess an intrinsic peroxidase-like activity. The colorimetric and electrochemical assays both demonstrated their excellent catalytic activity towards H2O2 reduction.

Synthesis and growth mechanism of multilayer TiO2 nanotube arrays
Nanoscale, 2012High-aspect-ratio TiO(2) nanotube arrays formed by anodic oxidation have drawn extensive attention due to their easy fabrication and various excellent optical, electrical and biomedical properties. In contrast to conventional single-layer TiO(2) nanotubes prepared via constant-voltage anodization, we synthesize multilayer TiO(2) nanotube arrays with ...

Photo-enhanced field emission study of TiO2 nanotubes array
Ultramicroscopy, 2011Aligned TiO(2) nanotubes were synthesized by simple anodization of the Ti foil surface. The as-anodized product is further characterized by SEM, XRD, and PL. The tube inner diameter is found to be ≈ 60-80 nm with the average wall thickness ≈ 30 nm and areal density ≈ 15 × 10(6)/cm(2).
