Preliminary low speed wind tunnel tests on a 70 degrees cropped delta wing with blowing at all edges
Wind tunnel tests have been made on a 70° Cropped Delta Wing with slot blowing from all edges in the plane of the wing. The tests include six-component force and moment measurements and the distribution of pressure at four chordwise stations on the ...

The Role of Union Legitimacy and Identity in Shaping Strategic Choice
ABSTRACT This article explores how union legitimacy and identity shape union strategies. It highlights that while union identity is key to understanding strategic variation, legitimacy also plays a crucial role as unions must continuously earn and maintain it with various constituencies.

Control of Tip-Leakage Vortices Using Segmented Plasma Actuators
A combined experimental and numerical investigations were conducted to understand the effect of forcing by Dielectric-barrier-discharge (DBD) plasma actuators on the strength of the tip-leakage vortices formed in the tip-gap of a single NACA 65 airfoil ...

High clothianidin concentrations prevented colonization, while bifenthrin showed a non‐significant trend of reduced fly abundance, indicating both insecticides may suppress blow fly activity on treated carcasses. Adult emergence rates were unaffected, with no statistically significant differences observed across insecticide treatments, suggesting ...

Drawing on recent work in virtue epistemology, I provide an epistemic account of indoctrination according to which one is indoctrinated only if they hold an epistemically impactful
