Artificial Symbiosis for Bulk Production of Bacterial Cellulose Composites
Co‐cultivation of the cellulose‐producing bacterium with the microalga enables bulk formation of bacterial cellulose under static incubation, with photosynthetically active oxygen‐generating sites throughout the medium. This symbiotic platform supports 3D cellulosic constructs with geometries dictated by the vessel shape.

Electron Channeling Contrast Imaging of Ferroelastic Domains
A simple scanning electron microscopy technique, electron channeling contrast imaging, unveils nanoscale ferroelastic domains and their coupling to functional properties in oxide heterostructures. The work demonstrates high‐resolution mapping of both surface and buried domains, broadening the experimental toolbox for ferroic and quantum oxide systems ...

Asymmetry of the Ferroelectric Phase Transition in BaTiO3
Phase transitions are typically assumed to behave identically in forward and reverse. This work shows that in the ferroelectric material barium titanate this is not true: heating drives an abrupt, first‐order jump, while cooling gives a smooth, continuous change.

Liquid Metal Microrobots for Magnetically Guided Transvascular Navigation
Liquid metal‐based microrobots combine magnetic steering, intrinsic X‐ray visibility and softness, to navigate blood vessels even against flow. Under clinically relevant magnetic fields, liquid metal microrobots roll along vessel walls, cross endothelial barriers, and accumulate in target tissues.

Tuning Pore Size in Porous Graphene Membrane for O2/N2 Separation
Single‐layer graphene membranes featuring N‐functionalized, 0D pores offer a promising platform for O2/N2 separation. The heterogeneity of functional groups at the pore edge is dynamically tunable, enabling precise tuning of the pore limiting diameter and gas transport.

Status of 30-centimeter-diameter mercury ion thruster isolator development [PDF]
Results are presented of several 30 cm diameter mercury ion thruster isolator life tests that show that the onset and exponential increase of leakage current problems observed in earlier thruster operations and isolator tests have been solved.
