Existing methods for predicting the tip-leakage losses in turbomachinery are based on a variety of assumptions, many of which have not been fully verified experimentally. Recently, several detailed experimental studies in turbine cascades have helped to clarify the physics of the flow and provide data on the evolution of the losses.

The water permeability of amorphous carbon dots (CDs) is demonstrated by investigating their plasticization. Novel polyamide‐based and amorphous nanoparticles are synthesized by controlling their inner packing density. Water plasticization is evidenced by the decrease of the CDs glass transition temperature with increasing the hydration degree.

Transparent Perovskite Light‐Emitting Diodes with Conductive Oxide Top Electrodes
Transparent perovskite light‐emitting diodes (TrPeLEDs) enable simultaneous display and transparency, expanding application possibilities. Using a metal oxide buffer layer and pulsed laser deposition, TrPeLEDs with diverse compositions and architectures are demonstrated.
