Vertical Force Estimation of Heavy-Loaded Radial Tire Based on Circumferential Strain Analysis

open access: yesShanghai Jiaotong Daxue xuebao, 2023
In order to realize the quantitative estimation of tire vertical force, the algorithm of heavy-loaded tire vertical force estimation based on circumferential strain analysis is studied. A finite element analysis model of 16.00R20 tire is established. A comparison of tire loading test and modal vibration test indicates that the vertical stiffness error ...

Unified Phase‐Field Framework for Antiferroelectric, Ferroelectric and Dielectric Phases: Application to HZO Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
HfxZr1−xO2${\rm Hf}_x{\rm Zr}_{1-x}{\rm O}_2$ offers CMOS‐compatible nanoscale ferroelectricity yet suffers from a high Ec${\rm E}_c$ demanding large operating voltages. A unified phase‐field framework spanning AFE/FE/DE phases shows how FE grains soften neighboring AFE grains over λ$\lambda$ ≈$\approx$ 22–37 nm.

Estimation of contact characteristics based on measurement of inner tire surface strain

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2014
From a point of view of handling and stability, it is important to bring automotive tires into contact with the road correctly. If the contact state of the tire is known while moving, more advanced vehicle control can be carried out.

Architecture‐Driven Functional Coupling in Vertically Aligned Nanocomposites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Vertically aligned nanocomposites define a growth‐engineered architecture in which vertical interfaces, strain fields, defect pathways, and phase connectivity are created simultaneously. This review shows how these architectural features couple ferroic, optical, ionic, electrochemical, and device responses, establishing design rules and open challenges
