Distribution of ceftazidime in rat tissues
Biopharmaceutics & Drug Disposition, 1998The pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution of ceftazidime (CFT), a third generation cephalosporin antibiotic commonly used in clinical practice, were investigated in rats after intravenous administration of the antibiotic. Studies using intravenous bolus administration were carried out at two dose levels (5 and 20 mg) of the antibiotic.

Tissue Phospholipid Distribution in Adrenalectomized Rats
Endocrinology, 1967Bilateral adrenalectomy altered phospholipid distribution in various tissues of the rat. Total phospholipids were drastically reduced in liver, heart and kidney; the change in brain was much less significant. Phospholipid fractionation was performed by paper chromatography on extracts of these tissues.

Distribution of methotrexate in rat tissues
British Journal of Dermatology, 1974SUMMARY The distribution of methotrexate between tissues is a very complex process, dependent in part upon the species studied, the size of the dose and the channel of administration. The nature of the tissue and its content of dihydrofolate reductase also play a part. Elimination of methotrexate in the urine and bile indicate that renal and hepatic

Tissue Distribution of Tetrahydrobiopterin Generating Enzymes
1993Tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4) is the natural cofactor of Phenylalanine, tyrosine and tryptophan hydroxylases as well as nitric oxide synthase1-5. BH4 is synthesized from GTP by successive actions of at least three enzymes2,6, namely, GTP cyclohydrolase I, 6-pyruvoyltetrahydropterin synthase (PTPS) and sepiapterin reductase (SR)2,6.

Fluoride tissue distribution: short-term kinetics
American Journal of Physiology-Renal Physiology, 1979The short-term distribution kinetics of 18F, with and without added carrier, were studied in 12 soft tissues and femur following intravenous administration in rats. The animals were killed in groups of four at 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, and 60 min after the dose.

Pressure Distribution in Tissue
2019This chapter introduces estimates and measurements of the pressure distribution in tissue. Several physical and computer models are included to show the results of estimating tissue pressure distribution. Experimental results suggest causes of pressure sore formation.

Tissue distribution of human chorionic gonadotropin
American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1970Abstract Tissue distribution of exogenous HCG was studied in adult female mice injecting the animals with HCG-I 125 , BSA-I 125 , and I 125 and determining in a scintillation counter the tissue radioactivity at various time intervals. The radioactive materials were extracted from the tissues and mixed with excess anti-HCG serum. It was found that the

TISSUE DISTRIBUTION OF CHANNEL CATFISH VIRUS
Journal of Wildlife Diseases, 1971The kidney, liver, intestine, brain, and muscle of live infected channel catfish were assayed for channel catfish virus in channel catfish gonad cell cultures. Sampling was done at 24-hour intervals for 120 hours. The virus was first detected in the kidneys of channel catfish 24 hours after inoculation.
