Sustainability as a narrative has mainstreamed, but practice is stuck in the 'valley of death,' with exemplary business action to internalize social and environmen- tal externalities remaining ad hoc and small scale. Civil regulation has had significant impacts, but appears unable to act as a driver of systemic change.

The article discusses the evolutionary success of sauropods, such as Apatosaurus, formerly known as Brontosaurus, which lived for approximately 150 million years. Topics include a traditionally-held view by paleontologists that sauropods, with their long necks and small brains, were unfit for life on land or in water, discoveries in the 21st century ...

The discovery that Titan had an atmosphere was made by the identification of methane in the satellite's spectrum in 1944. But the abundance of this gas and the identification of other major constituents required the 1980 encounter by the Voyager 1 spacecraft.

Some of the aspects of methane precipitation on Titan are considered. In particular, descent velocities are computed. It is found that raindrops fall much slower than on Earth. Additionally, the maximum size of raindrops on Titan is over 9 mm, compared with under 6 mm on Earth. The composition of drops will vary with altitude.

If global oceans of methane exist on Titan, the atmosphere above them must be within 2 percent of saturation. The two Voyager radio occultation soundings, made at low latitudes, probably occurred over land, since they imply a relative humidity ≲ 70 percent near the surface. Oceans might exist at other low-latitude locations if the zonal wind velocities
