Preparation of fine, uniform nitrogen- and sulfur-modified TiO2 nanoparticles from titania nanotubes

open access: yesScience and Technology of Advanced Materials, 2010
TiO2 nanoparticles modified with nitrogen and sulfur were prepared from titania nanotubes by a facile wet chemistry method. The samples synthesized with different thiourea/TiO2 ratios showed a uniform nanoparticle size distribution centred at ...

Nanostructure‐Dependent Signal Intensity in Through‐Hole Porous Alumina Membranes for Mass Spectrometry Imaging

open access: yesRapid Communications in Mass Spectrometry, Volume 40, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Rationale Matrix‐assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) is a widely used analytical technique for measuring high‐molecular‐weight compounds such as proteins. However, in the low‐molecular‐weight region, interference peaks derived from the matrix occur.

Supraparticles from Titania Nanoplates: Assembly, Photocatalytic Polymer Encapsulation, Functionalization, and Multifunctional Hybrid Supraparticles

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026.
Titania nanoplates are assembled into supraparticles (SPs) using an emulsion‐based technique. These SPs are encapsulated within a polystyrene shell, applying a surface‐initiated photocatalyzed radical polymerization procedure. By varying the duration of UV light exposure, the organic fraction of the polymer is tunable.
