Electronic structures and optical spectra of thin anatase TiO2 nanowires through hybrid density functional and quasiparticle calculations [PDF]
The electronic properties of quasi-one-dimensional anatase TiO2 nanostructures, in the form of thin nanowires having (101) and (001) facets, have been systematically investigated using the standard, hybrid density functional and quasiparticle ...

Short Time Synthesis of Titania Nanotubes: Effect of Pre-Mixing Prior Hydrothermal
The effect of pre-mixing by mechanical stirring before hydrothermal and hydrothermal time on the crystalline phases and morphology of titania has been studied. It was shown that nanotubes titania can be obtained after 5 h hydrothermal at 150 °C.

Two-phase Titania Nanotubes for Gas Sensing
AbstractOur work reports the growth of two-phase (anatase-rutile) TiO2 nanotubes and the investigation of their gas sensing properties. Well-aligned and highly ordered nanotubes have been obtained by means of electrochemical anodization method. Depending on annealing regimes, the crystal structure of nanotubes was changing from anatase to anatase ...

Study on Synthesis and Photocatalytic Activity of Porous Titania Nanotubes
Using the common natural cellulose substance (filter paper) and triblock copolymer (Pluronic P123) micelles as dual templates, porous titania nanotubes with enhanced photocatalytic activity have been successfully synthesized through sol-gel methods ...

Synthesis and properties of Co-doped titanate nanotubes and their optical sensitization with methylene blue [PDF]
Here we report on a novel chemical route to synthesize homogenous cobalt doped titanate nanotubes (CoTNT), using an amorphous Co-doped precursor. The influence of the synthesis temperature, autoclave dwell time and metal doping on the structural and ...
