Adsorption of titanium and titanium dioxide on graphene: n and p-type doping [PDF]
Ab initio calculations within the density-functional theory formalism are performed to investigate the ground state, electric charge doping, and electronic properties of titanium and titanium dioxide monolayers adsorbed on a graphene surface. A new ground state structrure of Ti monolayer adsorbed on graphene is reported which is shown to be stable up ...

In this work, a magnetic core‐shell catalyst (HOF‐on‐Fe3O4/ZIF‐67) is successfully synthesized, consisting of a metal–organic framework (ZIF‐67) with magnetic Fe3O4 as the core and a porous hydrogen‐bonded organic framework (HOF) as the shell. The catalyst efficiently activated peroxymonosulfate, resulting in rapid and effective removal of water ...

New Design of Potentially Low-cost Solar Cells Using TiO2/Graphite Composite as Photon Absorber [PDF]
A solar cell design using the combination of titanium dioxide and graphite as active photon absorbing materials were proposed. The titanium dioxide absorbs photons of nearly ultraviolet wavelengths to produce electron hole pairs, while graphite is expected to absorb photons of longer wavelengths.

Reactive nitrogen plasma spray coating of titanium nitride: plasma torch design and coating analysis [PDF]
In this paper, a thermal DC plasma torch was designed and developed for plasma spraying of a titanium nitride layer. Thermal plasma spray torch is a kind of non-transferred torch which can produce a high energy and high temperature plasma arc jet. Ti powders were injected into the plasma jet interacted with nitrogen plasma, resulted in a thick and hard
