Photocatalytic activity of hydrothermal titanium dioxide [PDF]
Hydrotermální syntéza je jednou z nejvíce používaných metod k přípravě nanočástic oxidu titaničitého. Proces probíhá za zvýšených teplot a tlaku, což usnadňuje přeměnu amorfního oxidu titaničitého na krystalický.

Titanium dioxide nanoparticles – biological effects
Titanium dioxide occurs as particles of various sizes. Particles of up to 100 nm, corresponding to nanoparticles, and in the size range of 0.1-3 mm are the most frequently used. Titanium dioxide in a bulk form is not classified as dangerous substance, nevertheless nanoparticles may cause adverse health effects.
