Sharks, Rays and a Chimaeroid from the Kimmeridgian (Late Jurassic) of Ringstead, Southern England [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Sampling of a lenticular concentration of vertebrate debris and associated sediments from the lower Kimmeridgian of southern England has allowed the study of a diverse and abundant assemblage of chondrichthyan remains.

Tithonian–Berriasian ammonites from the Baños del Flaco Formation, central Chile

open access: yesJournal of Systematic Palaeontology, 2015
The Baños del Flaco Formation in central Chile contains abundant and well-preserved Tithonian (Late Jurassic) and scarce Berriasian (Early Cretaceous) ammonites. At Rio Maitenes in Curicó Province an assemblage referred to 10 genera and 12 species is here described.

Deformation and Sediment Provenance of the Forearc Basin in the Central Andes of Southern Peru

open access: yesTectonics, Volume 44, Issue 8, August 2025.
Abstract The linkages between the development of the forearc regions and the accompanying retroarc in contractional mountain belts remain unclear. In the central Andes of southern Peru, new results constrain the timing of deformation and the provenance of forearc basin fill during Cenozoic mountain building.

Systematic revision and evolution of the Tithonian family Chitinoidellidae Trejo, 1975

open access: yesCarnets de géologie (Notebooks on geology), 2021
Several new genera and species of the family Chitinoidellidae Trejo, 1975, were erected by Pop (1997, 1998a, 1998b). Some of these taxa are justified, but others are inadequately defined, and require revision. I discuss herein the non-validity of some taxa and propose a new systematic classification and an evolutionary framework for the family ...
