Nickel oxide Nanoparticles/Carbon Nanotubes Nanocomposite for Non‐enzymatic Determination of Hydrogen Peroxide

open access: yesElectroanalysis, Volume 35, Issue 2, February 2023., 2023
Abstract In this work, nickel oxide nanoparticles‐modified multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were prepared and used for H2O2 sensing application. Firstly, ex situ NiO nanoparticles (NPs) were prepared and further used to decorate polyethylenimine (PEI)‐modified carboxylated CNTs. The obtained nanocomposite and its precursors were identified by using

Effect of Processing Methods on Antinutritional Factors (Oxalate, Phytate, and Tannin) and Their Interaction with Minerals (Calcium, Iron, and Zinc) in Red, White, and Black Kidney Beans

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analytical Chemistry, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
The purpose of this study was to assess how different processing techniques affected mineral compositions, antinutritional factors, and their interactions in red, white, and black kidney beans consumed in Ethiopia. Mineral contents were found to be 41–44, 58–78, and 112–126 mg Ca/100 g in the raw, soaked, and cooked samples, respectively.
