Seasonal and Diel Acoustic Occurrence of Sei Whales in Oregon, USA

open access: yesMarine Mammal Science, Volume 42, Issue 4, October 2026.
ABSTRACT The behavior, distribution, and life history of sei whales (Balaenoptera borealis) are largely unknown in the North Pacific. We analyzed data from three bottom‐mounted acoustic recorders deployed 25 (shelf; depth = 300 m), 45 (slope; depth = 630 m), and 65 (abyssal; depth = 2860 m) nautical miles off of Newport, Oregon, USA that recorded ...

Risk stratification of endometrial cancer and lymph node metastases prediction using 18F-FDG PET/CT: role of metabolic tumor volume and total lesion glycolysis

open access: yesThe Egyptian Journal of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, 2022
Background Endometrial cancer is the commonest gynecologic malignancy. Pelvic lymph node metastasis is considered one of its most important prognostic factors.

Anti‐Müllerian Hormone and Metabolic–Hormonal Profiles in Women With and Without Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: A Population‐Based Study

open access: yesEndocrinology, Diabetes &Metabolism, Volume 9, Issue 5, September 2026.
In this population‐based study of 883 women, AMH declined less with age in women with PCOS than in healthy women. Higher AMH may protect older healthy women from T2DM but indicates elevated metabolic risk in younger women with PCOS, supporting its role as a life‐course biomarker for metabolic risk stratification.

Clinical and Radiometabolic Correlatives of ddPCR Liquid Biopsy for BRAF V600 Mutated Melanoma

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 159, Issue 4, Page 1068-1078, 15 August 2026.
Commercial circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) liquid biopsy tests are increasingly used for disease monitoring and surveillance in melanoma. However, data regarding the possible correlations between ctDNA and baseline clinical and radiometabolic parameters such as metastatic locations, tumor volume, and tumor glycolysis in patients with BRAF‐mutated ...

Prognostic value of baseline metabolic tumor volume and total lesion glycolysis in patients with lymphoma: A meta-analysis.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2019
Whether baseline metabolic tumor volume (TMTV) and total lesion glycolysis (TLG) measured by FDG-PET/CT affected prognosis of patients with lymphoma was controversial.

2'‐O‐Acetal Levulinic Ester Ribonucleoside 3'‐Phosphoramidites for the Solid‐Phase Synthesis of Long RNA

open access: yesCurrent Protocols, Volume 6, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract Solid‐phase RNA synthesis is challenging because the 2'‐hydroxyl requires a protecting group that is stable during chain assembly yet easily removable without degrading the product. Driven by the demand for long RNA therapeutics, we report a synthesis method using 2'‐O‐acetal levulinic ester (ALE) ribonucleoside 3'‐O‐phosphoramidites.

The evolving landscape of the Warburg effect in gastric cancer: From molecular mechanisms to targeted therapy

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 8, August 2026.
Hypoxia, oncogenic signaling, transcriptional and epigenetic remodeling, and H. pylori–microbiota interactions drive the Warburg effect in gastric cancer. Enhanced glycolysis and lactate export support biosynthesis, remodel the tumor microenvironment, promote stromal activation and immune suppression, and reveal actionable biomarkers and therapeutic ...

Repeatability of metabolic tumor burden and lesion glycolysis between clinical readers

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2023
The Metabolic Tumor Volume (MTV) and Tumor Lesion Glycolysis (TLG) has been shown to be independent prognostic predictors for clinical outcome in Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma (DLBCL). However, definitions of these measurements have not been standardized,

Prognostic and Predictive Role of Circulating Tumor DNA in Locally Advanced Rectal Cancer Managed With Total Neoadjuvant Therapy: A Systematic Review

open access: yesHealth Science Reports, Volume 9, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) has emerged as a promising biomarker of tumor burden and minimal residual disease. As total neoadjuvant therapy (TNT) increasingly supports organ‐preserving strategies in locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC), reliable markers of treatment response are needed.
