Resistance in Tobacco to the Tobacco Hornworm12

Approximately 1500 entries of Nicotiana tabacum L. were screened from 1971–78 for resistance to Manduca sexta (L.). Most tobacco entries sustained severe injury from tobacco hookworm feeding; however, 14 entries were found to have a moderate degree of resistance.
