First report of tomato chlorosis virus (ToCV) and detection of other viruses in field-grown tomatoes in North-Western region of India. [PDF]
Tomato crop is known to be infected by large number of viruses across the globe causing severe losses in its yield. Accurate information on the distribution and incidence of different viruses is essential to implement virus control strategies. This study provides information on prevalence and distribution of different viruses infecting tomato crop in ...

Formation of H2O2 in Near-Neutral Zn-air Batteries Enables Efficient Oxygen Evolution Reaction. [PDF]
Rechargeable Zn‐air batteries with near‐neutral electrolytes show promise as cheap, safe and sustainable devices but face slow charge kinetics. This study reveals a charge storage mechanism mediated by H2O2 formation during discharge and oxidation during charge, influenced by electrolyte composition and electrode material.

Evolutionarily New Solanaceous DCL2 Family Members Acquire Functions in Tomato. [PDF]
This work demonstrated the expansion of functional Dicer‐like 2 gene family members in the Solanaceae family. ABSTRACT RNA silencing is one of the major defence activities against viral pathogens in plants. Silencing signals are initiated by Dicer‐like proteins (DCLs) to generate viral‐derived small RNAs (sRNAs).

Deteksi Molekuler Penyebab Penyakit Kuning (Tomato Chlorosis Virus dan Tomato Infectious Chlorosis Virus) pada Tanaman Tomat [PDF]
This research was aimed to detect the ToCV and TICV caused yellowing disease on tomatoes by molecular detection. Leaf samples of symptomatic plants were taken from Ketep (Magelang), then the leaves were identified by reverse transcription-polymerase ...

Frequency Incidence of Tomato Chlorosis Virus and Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus Affecting Tomato Plants [PDF]
The Tomato Chlorosis Criniviruses (ToCV) and Tomato yellow leaf curl Geminivirus (TYLCV), which naturally infecting and limited to the phloem, have caused a drastic reduction in tomato yield.

Pepino Mosaic Virus: A Globally Important Tomato Pathogen and a Rising Model in Molecular Virology. [PDF]
Pepino mosaic virus (PepMV) is a globally important tomato pathogen causing fruit quality losses. It comprises multiple genetic types and spreads via seed and mechanical contact. Lacking resistant cultivars, management relies on cross‐protection. PepMV–tomato interactions provide a valuable model for studying virus–plant molecular mechanisms and ...
