The Third-Order Hermitian Toeplitz Determinant for Alpha-Convex Functions [PDF]
Sharp lower and upper bounds of the second- and third-order Hermitian Toeplitz determinants for the class of α-convex functions were found. The symmetry properties of the arithmetic mean underlying the definition of α-convexity and the symmetry ...

By using a certain general conic domain as well as the quantum (or q-) calculus, here we define and investigate a new subclass of normalized analytic and starlike functions in the open unit disk U .

On block Toeplitz matrices with analytic symbol [PDF]
We construct the inverse and give a formula for the determinant of a block Toeplitz matrix generated by an analytic symbol of special ...

Toeplitz determinants with merging singularities [PDF]
We study asymptotic behavior for determinants of $n\times n$ Toeplitz matrices corresponding to symbols with two Fisher-Hartwig singularities at the distance $2t\ge0$ from each other on the unit circle.

Hermitian–Toeplitz determinants for certain univalent functions
Sharp upper and lower bounds for the second and third order Hermitian-Toepilitz determinants are obtained for some generalized subclasses of starlike and convex functions. Applications of these results are also discussed for several widely known classes.

Modified Szegö–Widom Asymptotics for Block Toeplitz Matrices with Zero Modes [PDF]
The Szegö–Widom theorem provides an expression for the determinant of block Toeplitz matrices in the asymptotic limit of large matrix dimension n. We show that the presence of zero modes, i.e, eigenvalues that vanish as

Eigenvalues of 2-tridiagonal Toeplitz matrix [PDF]
In this article an explicit formula for eigenvalues of a 2-tridiagonal Toeplitz matrix can be derived on the basis of a certain relation between the determinant of this matrix and the determinant of a pertinent tridiagonal matrix.

On Matrix‐Based Cryptography Using Matrix Norm and Special Integer Sequences
ABSTRACT In this paper, a novel matrix‐based encryption approach based on the Affine Hill cipher is presented. The key matrix is constructed using the Narayana integer sequence, and the Frobenius norm of the key matrix is used as a scaling factor in the key construction.

A Quantised Push‐Sum Distributed Adaptive Momentum Algorithm for Optimisation Over Directed Networks
ABSTRACT In this paper, we investigate a distributed constrained optimisation problem over directed networks. The agents in the networks conduct local computations and communications, endeavouring to collaboratively minimise the aggregation of all locally known convex cost functions subject to a global constraint set.
