Application of Gegenbauer Polynomials with Two Variables to Bi-univalency of Generalized Discrete Probability Distribution Via Zero-Truncated Poisson Distribution Series [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis
The present study is unique in exploring bi-univalent functions, which has recently garnered attention from many researchers in Geometric Function Theory (GFT).

Effects of Beet‐Vinasse (Condensed Molasses Soluble) Addition on the Performance, Milk Fatty Acid Profile, Digestibility, Blood Parameters, and Ruminal Fermentation of Early Lactating Holstein Cows

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 3, May 2026.
Vinasse supplementation at 1.5%–3% enhances nutrient digestibility, ruminal fermentation and production efficiency in early‐lactating Holstein cows. However, without rumen microbial or immune response data, long‐term safety and efficacy require further study.

Viscoacoustic Full Wavefield Migration With Tomographic Q Estimation

open access: yesGeophysical Prospecting, Volume 74, Issue 4, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Seismic wave propagation in the Earth's subsurface is influenced by anelastic attenuation, which causes energy loss and waveform distortion, degrading image resolution. This effect, quantified by the quality factor (Qf${{\textit {Q}}_f}$), is particularly pronounced in settings such as carbon capture and storage and near‐surface studies, where

ON DETERMINANTS AND PERMANENTS OF k-TRIDIAGONAL TOEPLITZ MATRICES [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper we introduce k-tridiagonal Toeplitz matrices and give algorithms for determinants and permanents of these matrices. We give illustrative examples for these algorithms.

An upper bound to the second Hankel determinant for pre-starlike functions of order α

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 2015
The objective of this paper is to obtain an upper bound to the second Hankel determinant  for the function f and its inverse belonging to the class of pre-starlike functions of order alpha (0 ≤ alpha ≤ 1), using Toeplitz determinants.

The effect of labor epidural analgesia on uterine activity using electrohysterography monitoring: A follow‐up study

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, Volume 105, Issue 5, Page 912-921, May 2026.
Epidural analgesia during the first stage of labor shows no clinically relevant changes in uterine contraction frequency and duration, but it is associated with a significant reduction in uterine intensity. Their clinical implications need further research.

Quantum Time‐Marching Algorithms for Solving Linear Transport Problems Including Boundary Conditions

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, Volume 127, Issue 8, 30 April 2026.
ABSTRACT This article presents the first complete application of a quantum time‐marching algorithm for simulating multidimensional linear transport phenomena with arbitrary boundaries, whereby the success probabilities are problem intrinsic. The method adapts the linear combination of unitaries algorithm to block encode the diffusive dynamics, while ...

Estimate of functional inequalities for a family of holomorphic functions subordinated to a C-shaped domain

open access: yesScientific African
In this paper, we introduce a new geometric domain with a C-shaped structure and demonstrate its properties of Ma-Minda families. This new domain exhibits regular analytic behavior.

Results on Toeplitz Determinants for Subclasses of Analytic Functions Associated to q-Derivative Operator

open access: yesScience and Technology Indonesia
An analytic function, also known as a holomorphic function, is a complex-valued function that is differentiable at every point within a given domain. In other words, a function f (z) is analytic in a domain U if it has a derivative f′(z) at every point z

Beyond the Non‐Hermitian Skin Effect: Scaling‐Controlled Topology from Exceptional‐Bound Bands

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 20, 9 April 2026.
ABSTRACT We establish a novel mechanism for topological transitions in non‐Hermitian systems that are controlled by the system size. Based on a new paradigm known as exceptional‐bound (EB) band engineering, its mechanism hinges on the unique critical scaling behavior near an exceptional point, totally unrelated to the well‐known non‐Hermitian skin ...
