四川大学学报. 自然科学版, 1990 在地球上的轮藻已知的约有410种,分隶于6个属,即丽藻属(Nitella),拟丽藻属(Nitellopsis),鸟巢藻属(Tolypella),灯枝藻属(Lgchnothamnus).丽枝藻属(Lamprothamnium)和轮藻属(Chara).根据每个种地理分布的统计结果,发现现代轮藻的地理分布有5条基本规律:(1)世界种占有较高的百分比;(2)孤立地区的特有种比较丰富;(3)中国西南地区的地理成分特别复杂;(4)南北两半球的亚热带地区种数最多;(5)结构简单的分类群多分布于南北球.
