Efficient and Scalable Radiative Cooling for Photovoltaics Using Solution‐Processable and Solar‐Transparent Mesoporous Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Graded refractive index (GRI) structures are prepared from the layer‐by‐layer spray coating of the mesoporous SiO2 nanoparticles, showing high solar transparency and thermal emissivity. Under outdoor conditions, after 50 days, the GRI‐coated photovoltaics show on average 6.65 ± 1.48 °C lower than that of the non‐coated references, maintaining 80.9 ± 8 ...

Cardiovascular Outcomes of Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography Versus Functional Testing in Suspected Coronary Syndromes: Real‐World Evidence From the Nationwide Cohort

open access: yesJournal of the American Heart Association: Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease, 2023
Background Real‐world evidence for the selection of gatekeeping studies in patients with suspected coronary syndromes is limited. Methods and Results We identified 27 036 patients who underwent coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA), single ...

A mathematical approach towards THz tomography for non-destructive imaging [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
In this paper, we consider the imaging problem of terahertz (THz) tomography, in particular as it appears in non-destructive testing. We derive a nonlinear mathematical model describing a full THz tomography experiment, and consider linear approximations connecting THz tomography with standard computerized tomography and the Radon transform.

Ultra‐Fast Non‐Volatile Resistive Switching Devices with Over 512 Distinct and Stable Levels for Memory and Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A materials and device design concept that comprises a self‐assembled ultra‐thin epitaxial ion‐transporting layer, an amorphous oxide overcoat oxygen‐blocking layer, and a partial filament formed during an electroforming step is proposed for low‐current multilevel resistive switching devices.

Hyperfunctioning parathyroid gland and skeletal involvement on [18F]fluorocholine PET/CT: one look with two views

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Hybrid Imaging, 2022
Hyperparathyroidism is an endocrine disorder that may be associated with other metabolic diseases. Non-invasive imaging techniques including [99mTc]Tc-sestamibi single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) and [18F]fluorocholine positron emission ...

Imaging polar and dipolar sources of geophysical anomalies by probability tomography. Part I: theory and synthetic examples [PDF]

open access: yesProgress In Electromagnetics Research, vol. 87, 63-88, 2008, 2006
We develop the theory of a generalized probability tomography method to image source poles and dipoles of a geophysical vector or scalar field dataset. The purpose of the new generalized method is to improve the resolution power of buried geophysical targets, using probability as a suitable paradigm allowing all possible equivalent solution to be ...

Single photon emission computed tomography in seizure disorders. [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Disease in Childhood, 1988
Fourteen children with various seizure disorders were studied using a cerebral blood flow tracer, 123I iodoamphetamine (0.05 mCi/kg), and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT). In the five patients with radiological lesions, SPECT showed congruent or more extensive abnormalities.

Interfacial Contact Engineering Enables Giant‐Performance Semiconductor Nanomembrane Optoelectronic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work investigates modifying interfacial contacts in realizing giant‐performance semiconductor nanomembrane optoelectronics. Strategies, including surface reaction and buffer layer work‐function modulation, are explored to boost the Schottky barrier. An emerging material of YbOx is utilized for near‐ideal Ohmic contact.
