Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Wood‐based broadband blackbody is achieved by reconfiguration of wood with lignin nanoparticles prior carbonization. Neglectable reflectivity from the visible to infrared wavelengths is obtained by combining thin nanostructures originated from the wood cell walls with long‐range microcavities in the wood lumina.

Optimizing (1‐x) BiFeO3‐xCaTiO3 Perovskites: A Pathway to Efficient Flexible Energy Storage
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Perovskite materials, like BFO CTO, are popular due to their high conductivity, low cost, and wide availability. In this work a symmetric electrochemical cell based on BFO‐CTO shows a charge of 3.356 C.cm⁻2, giving a specific capacitance of 2.79 mF.cm⁻2 at 1 mV.s⁻2.

Emergence of Local Magnetic Moment in Ternary TaWSe2 Single Crystal via Atomic Clustering
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.This study investigates local magnetic moments in ternary TaWSe2. Triangular Ta clusters with consistent shapes are identified through STM/S, and DFT calculations. These clusters induce localized strain, generating magnetic moments at the cluster corners. Magnetic measurements confirm a magnetic anomaly at ∼50 K.

Ferroelectricity in Single‐Crystalline BaTiO3 Nanodisks on Silicon
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Ferroelectricity is studied in 20 nm thick single crystalline BaTiO3 nanodisks when scaling their diameter from ≈ 400 down to 100 nm. For 100 nm diameter, the vertical polarization component adopts three distinct patterns, and the lateral one shows a rotational invariance in‐plane, suggesting a combination of center‐type and flux‐closure domains.
