Improvement for UAV Urban SAR Tomography Based on Cylindrical Wave Model With Elevation Constraints

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) tomography (TomoSAR) technology can solve the layover problem in SAR images and achieve three-dimensional (3D) imaging. Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) TomoSAR has developed rapidly in the field of urban surveying and mapping

SAR Tomography Based on Block Compressive Sensing

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2016
While the use of SAR Tomography (TomoSAR) based on Compressive Sensing (CS) makes it possible to reconstruct the height profile of an observed scene, the performance of the reconstruction decreases for a structural observed scene. To deal with this issue,

Deep SAR Tomography: A Model-Inspired Approach With Learned Sparse Regularizer

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
Synthetic aperture radar tomography (TomoSAR) can acquire high resolution in height direction by forming a large synthetic aperture along the tomographic direction. Compressed sensing (CS) is widely utilized in TomoSAR imaging to reduce the costs of data

Tomographic SAR 3D Imaging Method Based on Geometry and Polarization Joint Constraints

open access: yesLeida xuebao
Tomographic Synthetic Aperture Radar (TomoSAR) is a key technique for 3D reconstruction of urban buildings. Although existing methods improve imaging quality by incorporating geometric constraints and have evolved into Polarimetric TomoSAR (PolTomoSAR ...

Façade structure reconstruction using spaceborne TomoSAR point clouds

open access: yes, 2012
Very high resolution SAR tomography using multiple data stacks from different viewing angles enables us for the first time to generate 4D point clouds of the illuminated area from space with a point density comparable to LiDAR. They can be potentially used for façade reconstruction and monitoring in urban environment.
