Backaction-evading measurement of entanglement in optomechanics [PDF]
We propose here a fully backaction-evading scheme for the measurement of the entanglement between two nanomechanical resonators. The system, which consists of two mechanical oscillators, coupled to a single mode of an electromagnetic resonant cavity through a radiation-pressure interaction term, is driven by two pump tones and four detection tones.

Machine learning based chroma phase offset detection and correction in motion video [PDF]
Generally, chroma phase or hue offset issues within a scene are hard to detect, without a reference or context (i.e. some apriori knowledge about how certain objects within the scene should actually appear in terms of their hue).

Real-time Tone Mapping: A State of the Art Report [PDF]
The rising demand for high quality display has ensued active research in high dynamic range (HDR) imaging, which has the potential to replace the standard dynamic range imaging. This is due to HDR's features like accurate reproducibility of a scene with its entire spectrum of visible lighting and color depth.

Skin-Tone and Academic Achievement Among 5-year-old Mexican Children [PDF]
Skin-tone based social stratification has been characterized as an enduring part of the U.S. racial landscape (Hunter, 2002). Despite the plethora of research that examines the racial disparities in education (e.g., Reardon & Portilla, 2015), and an ...

FoxO1 signaling in B cell malignancies and its therapeutic targeting
FoxO1 has context‐specific tumor suppressor or oncogenic character in myeloid and B cell malignancies. This includes tumor‐promoting properties such as stemness maintenance and DNA damage tolerance in acute leukemias, or regulation of cell proliferation and survival, or migration in mature B cell malignancies.
