An International ASXL3 Natural History Study: Deep Phenotypic Analyses Including Detailed Reports of a Milder Phenotype, Novel Associations, and Clinical Recommendations

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, Volume 197, Issue 11, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Natural History Studies can help inform clinician and caregiver expectations, form the basis of management guidelines, and provide a comparator for therapeutic intervention. In rare conditions, where collection of prospective longitudinal data is untimely and impractical, quasi‐natural history data—from multiple individuals of different ages ...

MRI‐Based Computational Analysis of Upper Airway Aerodynamics in Obstructive Sleep Apnea on Mandibular Advancement Device Treatment Effects

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 7, Issue 11, November 2025.
MRI technology can effectively capture the morphology of the upper airway during the inspiratory phase. Specifically, the findings from this case reveal that the mandibular advancement device can increase the volume of the velopharynx and the oropharynx, while reducing the maximum airflow velocity.

Comparison Between Emerging and Conventional Methods for Edible Oils Bleaching

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 13, Issue 11, November 2025.
The use of acid‐activated clay in industrial oil bleaching presents several drawbacks: prolonged filtration times, substantial oil loss, increased environmental concerns, landfill costs, degradation of triacylglycerols, increasing oil acidity, and formation of undesirable byproducts such as conjugated dienes and trienes. Utilizing novel technologies to

Tissue‐Equivalents of Lymphoid Clonal Hematopoiesis of Indeterminate Potential (L‐CHIP) and Germline‐Derived Lymphoproliferations: Possible Caveats for Hematopathologists

open access: yesHematological Oncology, Volume 43, Issue 6, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) is a predisposing condition to lymphoma development. CHIP carrying mutations that are recurrently found in lymphomas are designated as L‐CHIP. We presume that bone marrow‐derived L‐CHIP populations are able to expand and manifest in peripheral lymphoid tissues, where they could hence be ...

Mucosal‐Associated Invariant T Cells: Origins, Biological Functions, Diseases, and Therapeutic Targets

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 6, Issue 11, November 2025.
Mucosa‐associated invariant T (MAIT) cells are an evolutionarily conserved class of innate‐like T lymphocytes that rely on MR1 molecules to recognize microbial metabolites and play a central role in immune surveillance and inflammatory regulation.
