The episodes were characterized by pain and tenderness on the right side of the lower abdomen, without nausea, vomiting, chills, or fever.

Abstract The displacement of a lower wisdom tooth into the posterior nasal aperture is described. Uncontrolled elevation by an inexperienced operator combined with inadequate packing of the oropharynx resulted in the loss of the tooth. The methods involved in finding and retrieving the tooth are described.
