Postharvest Processing of Millets: Advancements & Entrepreneurship Development Opportunities
The article discusses the different postharvest processing operations of millets and their potential areas for exploration such as the development of value‐added processing technologies, diversification of processing technologies, and expansion of machinery for commercial production in food markets. ABSTRACT Millets, a member of the Poaceae family, are

The effectiveness of antler point restrictions to achieve management goals
Our results confirm that antler point restrictions are effective at increasing the age structure of harvested male white‐tailed deer. However, we found no evidence that antler point restrictions influenced the trajectory in the number of hunters or antlerless harvest in Michigan during the study period.

We evaluated capture effectiveness, monetary cost, and safety for drop net and both single and tandem helicopter with net‐gun techniques for white‐tailed deer. While all three techniques were safe and effective methods for deer capture, the tandem‐helicopter technique was superior in balancing effectiveness, cost, safety, and maximizing spatial ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Self‐assessment is a higher‐level ability required of health care practitioners, but rarely specifically taught in simulation environments. Retrospective evaluation of videos from simulated clinical environments could be useful for developing self‐assessment proficiencies. Objectives The objective of this study was to evaluate the

Utilization of Simulated Competency Exams in Dental Hygiene Education
ABSTRACT Objective The COVID‐19 pandemic accelerated the transition from live patient to manikin‐based licensure exams, a format likely to continue. This study examined the impact of simulated competency and mock board exams on the perceptions and self‐confidence of two student cohorts, using a four‐semester sequence with Acadental ModuPRO DH and ...

Evaluation of impacts of vaginal implant transmitter use in moose
Our evaluation of vaginal implant transmitter (VIT) use in moose did not find negative impacts in most short‐term and long‐term measures. However, we did identify a bias in comparisons of early calf survival that obfuscates survival analyses. VITs that remained in situ for unintended and extended periods inconsistently caused elevated acute phase ...

The study concludes that while both T‐PRF and L‐PRF aid in bone regeneration, L‐PRF shows superior efficacy. L‐PRF is recommended for bone defect healing due to its better performance in enhancing bone parameters. The density of the defect area (red circle) treated with L‐PRF extract demonstrates strong integration due to its close resemblance to ...

Availability of lesser prairie‐chicken nesting habitat impairs restoration success
Translocated lesser prairie‐chickens avoid areas on Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands, which were strongholds for these birds in the 1980s and 1990s. Vegetation surveys suggest that these areas no longer provide nesting habitat required for this population to return to historic levels.
