Self‐Rhythmic Soft Pneumatic Pressure Regulation System Based on Self‐Excited Oscillation of Jet Hose

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This study presents a soft pneumatic pressure regulation system that uses self‐excited hose oscillations to convert constant pressure (90–150 kPa) into rhythmic output. Simulations and experiments demonstrate tunable oscillation frequencies (5.9–11.1 Hz) through adjustments in pressure, hose length, and jet hole diameter.

Accurate Tooth Lead Crowning without Twist in Cylindrical Helical Gear Grinding

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2014
Form grinding is a popular finishing process in manufacturing cylindrical gears with tooth flank modification. The tooth flanks are usually twisted when a lead crowning is performed only through additional radial motion during double flank grinding.
