Development of bite guard for wireless monitoring of bruxism using pressure-sensitive polymer [PDF]
A wireless pressure sensing bite guard has been developed for monitoring the progress of bruxism (teeth grinding during sleep); as well as for protecting the teeth from damages.

The Effect of Preoperative Ibuprofen on Tooth Sensitivity Caused by In-office Bleaching [PDF]
Clinical Relevance The use of an analgesic may help to reduce tooth sensitivity during in-office bleaching. Within the limitations of this study, Ibuprofen (600 mg, PO single dose) reduced tooth sensitivity during, but not after the treatment period.

Polarization Management on Anisotropic Thin‐Film Lithium Niobate Platform
This review focuses on x‐cut thin‐film lithium niobate (TFLN), exploring strategies to mitigate anisotropy and mode hybridization. It covers polarization beam splitters, rotators, splitter‐rotators, polarizers, and polarization‐insensitive components. Key applications include polarization‐division multiplexing, polarization‐insensitive modulation, and ...

Classification review of dental adhesive systems: from the IV generation to the universal type [PDF]
Adhesive dentistry has undergone great progress in the last decades. In light of minimal-invasive dentistry, this new approach promotes a more conservative cavity design, which relies on the effectiveness of current enamel-dentine adhesives.

A compact self‐detecting dual‐comb spectroscopy (DCS) system based on dispersion‐engineered, high‐speed packaged quantum cascade lasers (QCLs) at λ≈4.6 μm under coherent injection locking is demonstrated. Broad multiheterodyne comb signal with reduced tooth linewidths by orders of magnitude is recorded.
