PTSD and Complex PTSD in Residential Treatment for Eating Disorders: Moderating Effects on Symptom Severity and Outcome Trajectory

open access: yesInternational Journal of Eating Disorders, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Eating disorders (EDs) and symptoms of trauma commonly co‐occur, yet research is limited on how trauma affects ED treatment outcomes. This is particularly true for complex post‐traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD). Differentiating between the treatment impacts of PTSD and CPTSD (which includes both PTSD symptoms and disturbances in self‐

Glia Preserve Their Own Functions While Compensating for Neighboring Glial Cell Dysfunction

open access: yesGlia, EarlyView.
When cortex glia lose their interactions with neuronal cell bodies, all neighboring glia infiltrate the region to clear extra neuronal corpses. Even while compensating for nearby glial dysfunction, glia maintain their own phagocytic functions. ABSTRACT Glial cells are essential for nervous system development, homeostasis, and disease response, engaging

Magnifying Glass on Sinonasal NUT Carcinoma Heterogeneity via Spatial Transcriptomics

open access: yesHead &Neck, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Nuclear protein in testis (NUT) carcinomas (NCs) are rare, clinically aggressive tumors with characteristic translocation involving NUTM1 and BRD4 genes. While NCs are generally characterized by undifferentiated basaloid cells with focal/abrupt squamous differentiation, tumoral heterogeneity remains unexplored.

Unveiling Origin Pitfalls in Metagenomic Surveillance for Emerging Infectious Diseases: Parvoviruses as a Model

open access: yesiMetaMed, EarlyView.
A diverse reagent‐associated virome, including parvoviruses, misleads zoonotic surveillance. By leveraging large language models (ChatGPT‐4o), we construct a virus discovery data framework (PVDDC) and ParvoDB to access and correct host misattributions, thereby enhancing the accuracy of metagenomic surveillance for emerging zoonotic diseases.
