Top physics with 0.70-1.08/fb of pp collisions with the ATLAS detector at the LHC

open access: yes, 2011
With data collected during the first half of 2011 pp run of the Large Hadron Collider at \surds = 7 TeV, a substantial data sample of high p_T triggers, 1.08/fb, has been collected by the ATLAS detector.

A Superalgebra Within: Representations of Lightest Standard Model Particles Form a Z25$\mathbb {Z}_2^5$‐Graded Algebra

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 537, Issue 12, December 2025.
A set of particle representations, familiar from the Standard Model, collectively form a superalgebra. Those representations mirroring the behaviour of the Standard Model's gauge bosons, and three generations of fermions, are each included in this algebra, with exception only to those representations involving the top quark.

Boosted Top Quarks, Top Pair Resonances, and Top Partner Searches at the LHC

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2013
The increased center-of-mass energy of proton-proton collisions at the LHC allows for higher and higher mass scales to be probed in the search for new physics. These searches for new physics can often involve the reconstruction of top quark decays.

Top quark flavor changing neutral currents at Future Linear Colliders [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
We discuss the production and the decay of top quark through flavor-changing neutral current (FCNC) interaction at future linear colliders. We first discuss the theoretical predictions of top quark FCNC decays into qH and qZ within a class of t–channel ...

Search for electroweak production of a vector-like T quark using fully hadronic final states

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
A search is performed for electroweak production of a vector-like top quark partner T of charge 2/3 in association with a top or bottom quark, using proton-proton collision data at s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 13 TeV collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC in ...

Model-independent sensitivity estimates for the electromagnetic dipole moments of the top quark at the Large Hadron Collider and beyond

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2020
As the heaviest known fundamental particle, the top quark ensures testing of the Standard Model and occupies a significant role in a lot of theories of new physics beyond the Standard Model.

Assessing Severity in Anorexia Nervosa Using Alternative Criteria to the DSM‐5 in a Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesInternational Journal of Eating Disorders, Volume 58, Issue 12, Page 2317-2330, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Objective This study compared overvaluation of weight and shape (OWS), drive for thinness (DT), and their combination (OWS‐DT) as alternative severity classifications for anorexia nervosa (AN) to the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM‐5) severity classification.

Nuclear Physics in the Era of Quantum Computing and Quantum Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, Volume 8, Issue 12, December 2025.
The use of QML in the realm of nuclear physics at low energy is almost nonexistent. Three examples of the use of quantum computing and quantum machine in nuclear physics are presented: the determination of the phase/shape in nuclear models, the calculation of the ground state energy, and the identification of particles in nuclear physics experiments ...

Top quark properties

open access: yes, 2018
The multi-purpose experiments at CERN's Large Hadron Collider have a very rich programme in top quark physics. The large amount of data allows for measuring the top quark properties with an unprecedented precision.
