Model‐Free Local Partial Correlation

open access: yesAustralian &New Zealand Journal of Statistics, Volume 68, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT In the simple linear regression context, partial correlation measures the linear association between two variables, with the linear effects of a third control variable removed. In this paper, we investigate the local partial correlation using a kernel smoothing approach.

Manin pairs and topological field theory

open access: yes, 1993
Kazama has described an extension of the N=2 superconformal algebra in which the operator product of G^- with itself is singular. In this paper, we relate actions of this chiral algebra to Drinfeld's theory of Manin pairs, or equivalently, quasi-Lie ...

Local equivalence and refinements of Rasmussen's s‐invariant

open access: yesJournal of Topology, Volume 19, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract Inspired by the notions of local equivalence in monopole and Heegaard Floer homology, we introduce a version of local equivalence that combines odd Khovanov homology with equivariant even Khovanov homology into an algebraic package called a local even–odd (LEO) triple.

Real Gel'fand-Mazur division algebras

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2003
We show that the complexification (A˜,τ˜) of a real locally pseudoconvex (locally absorbingly pseudoconvex, locally multiplicatively pseudoconvex, and exponentially galbed) algebra (A,τ) is a complex locally pseudoconvex (resp., locally absorbingly ...

The universal C*-algebra of the electromagnetic field II. Topological charges and spacelike linear fields

open access: yes, 2016
Conditions for the appearance of topological charges are studied in the framework of the universal C*-algebra of the electromagnetic field, which is represented in any theory describing electromagnetism.

WDVV‐based recursion for open Gromov–Witten invariants

open access: yesJournal of Topology, Volume 19, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract We give a computability result for open Gromov–Witten invariants based on open Witten–Dijkgraaf–Verlinde–Verlinde (WDVV) equations. This is analogous to the result of Kontsevich–Manin for closed Gromov–Witten invariants. For greater generality, we base the argument on a formal object, the Frobenius superpotential, that generalizes several ...

On Dubrovin Topological Field Theories

open access: yes, 1993
I show that the new topological field theories recently associated by Dubrovin with each Coxeter group may be all obtained in a simple way by a ``restriction'' of the standard ADE solutions. I then study the Chebichev specializations of these topological

Entropy rigidity for cusped Hitchin representations

open access: yesJournal of Topology, Volume 19, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract We establish an entropy rigidity theorem for Hitchin representations of geometrically finite Fuchsian groups which generalizes a theorem of Potrie and Sambarino for Hitchin representations of closed surface groups. In the process, we introduce the class of (1,1,2)‐hypertransverse groups and show for such a group that the Hausdorff dimension of

Solvability of invariant systems of differential equations on H2$\mathbb {H}^2$ and beyond

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, Volume 299, Issue 2, Page 456-479, February 2026.
Abstract We show how the Fourier transform for distributional sections of vector bundles over symmetric spaces of non‐compact type G/K$G/K$ can be used for questions of solvability of systems of invariant differential equations in analogy to Hörmander's proof of the Ehrenpreis–Malgrange theorem.

Fixed point theory in RWC–Banach algebras

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis
In this paper, we prove some fixed point results for the sum and the product of nonlinear continuous operators acting on an RWC–Banach algebra. Our result is formulated in terms of topological conditions on the operators.
