Orbital Geometry‐Governed Response of Pressure‐Tunable Quantum Defects in hBN
Defects in hBN act as ultrasensitive quantum manometers when the energy of the intradefect optical transitions is modified by lattice compression. The orbital geometry of the electron wave functions governs how electron hopping and Coulomb interactions react uniquely to the reduction of the van der Waals gap and in‐plane compression, leading to robust ...

FINITELY ADDITIVE MEASURES ON TOPOLOGICAL SPACES AND BOOLEAN ALGEBRAS [PDF]
The thesis studies some problems in measure theory. In particular, a possible generalization corresponding to Maharam Theorem for nitely additive measures (charges).

Large Transverse Thermoelectric Effect in Weyl Semimetal TaIrTe4 Engineered for Photodetection
This experimental work shows that the anomalous scanning photocurrent response patterns of the Weyl semimetal TaIrTe4${\rm TaIrTe}_4$ under visible and long‐wave infrared illumination are due to a large transverse thermoelectric response of the material.

Inhomogeneous Gevrey classes and ultradistributions
The inhomogeneous Gevrey classes, defined in terms of Fourier transform, are a natural extension of the standard Gevrey classes. We find equivalent characterizations and discuss algebraic and topological properties. We therefore introduce the dual spaces,

This work introduces a swelling‐induced, stress‐assisted water‐soluble PVA tape strategy to transfer‐print nanodiamond quantum‐sensor arrays onto soft, curved biological interfaces. The room‐temperature, water‐triggered process achieves >98% fidelity and residue‐free integration, enabling conformal quantum sensing on contact lenses, neural probes, and ...

3D Printing Innovations in Polymeric Porous and Patterned Architecture
Polymeric foams occupy a unique structural space between dense solids and open networks, where engineered void fraction governs mechanical compliance, thermal resistance, and mass transport. Additive manufacturing now enables precise spatial control over cellular architecture, unlocking designer foam structures across applications spanning crash ...

Ordered Topological Spaces and Topological Semilattices
In this thesis, we consider the relationship between ordered topological spaces and topological semilattices. We study the structures of ordered topological spaces and give some characterizations of these spaces, one of which is an answer to a question ...

Weakly hereditary regular closure operators
We present characterizations of subcategories inducing weakly hereditary regular closure operators. These characterizations are applicable, in particular, to the category Top of topological spaces and continuous maps and to Abelian categories.

A study on best simultaneous approximation through Chebyshev centers and related geometric properties in Banach spaces [PDF]
In this work, we study the existence of (restricted) Chebyshev centers and the set-valued generalization of strong proximinality in Banach spaces. We mainly explore the concepts above in L1-predual spaces and their subspaces.

Two nitrogen‐doped 2D conjugated metal‐organic frameworks (2D c‐MOFs, namely Cu‐Nx‐OHBA, x = 2 or 4) are synthesized, featuring precise nitrogen incorporation via rational ligand design. The Cu‐Nx‐OHBA 2D c‐MOFs are largely tailorable by varying skeletal nitrogen density, with respect to electrical conductivity, Li‐storage capacitance, and Li‐transport
