Topological degree and a nonlinear Dirichlet problem
Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 2003The author studies the existence of multiple solutions to a Dirichlet boundary value problem of the form \(-u''(t)=g(u(t))-\lambda f(t), \quad u(0)=u(1)=0\), where \(\lambda >0\), the function \(f\) is non-negative and increasing and \(f(0)>0\). Moreover, together with other technical assumptions, it is required that \(g\) is positive and monotone in a

Degree based topological indices of sanidic polyamides
2019Sanidic polyamides are special polymers with many applications in textile and clothing industries. In this paper, we calculate several degree based topological graph indices of the sanidic polyamides as these values helps to determine several chemical and physicochemical properties of these polyamides.

On topological degree and Poincaré duality
1995The intersection index, topological degree, and Maslov index of Lagrangian submanifolds can be defined by techniques of algebraic topology or differential topology. The author uses the Poincaré duality and the Thom's isomorphism to establish relations between the two processes of construction and gives some applications.
