Moisture Harvesting by the Structure Regulation of Hygroscopic Hydrogel for Energy and Water Sustainability

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Hygroscopic hydrogels are capable of utilizing the moisture from air, which can transfer the gaseous water to liquid by a surface phase transition. Taking advantage of this water, sustainable water production, thermal management, and electricity generation can be realized.

Improved Magnetoresistance of Tungsten Telluride and Silver Telluride Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This study focuses on the composite magnetoresistive materials of tungsten telluride (WTe₂) and silver telluride (Ag₂Te). Bulk composites are prepared by using different contents of the second phase. Adding 10% silver telluride can enhance the magnetoresistance performance, reduce magnetic field and increase onset temperature.

Vertical Phase Separation in Blended Organic Semiconducting Films and Impact on Their Electrical and Direct X‐Ray Detection Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The composition of blends of 1,4,8,11‐tetramethyl‐6,13‐triethylsilylethynyl pentacene (TMTES) and polystyrene (PS) to be used in Organic Field‐Effect Transistors (OFETs) is optimized to achieve and enhance thin film crystallinity and a reduced charge trap density at the semiconductor/dielectric interface.

Are PM6:Y6 Bulk Heterojunction Photoactive Films Cytocompatible and Electrically Stable in Biological Environments?

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
PM6:Y6 organic photovoltaic films are systematically studied to understand their potential for use in bioelectronics. The films exhibit excellent stability in simulated physiological environments, enabling consistent power delivery and demonstrating compatibility with rat neurons and the choriallantoic membrane of chicken embryos.

Highly Transparent, Conductive, and Mechanically Robust Hydrogels via Rapid In Situ Synthesis for Flexible Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A novel strategy for rapid in situ synthesis of hydrogels using Mo₂C‐derived molybdenum polyoxometalates (Mo‐POM) and ammonium persulfate enables room‐temperature polymerization. The hydrogels exhibit high transparency, conductivity, mechanical robustness, and durability. Integration of LiCl ensures antifreeze and water retention, while Mo‐POM/alginate
