Jumping spectra and vanishing couplings in heterotic Line Bundle Standard Models
We study two aspects of the physics of heterotic Line Bundle Standard Models on smooth Calabi-Yau threefolds. First, we investigate to what degree modern moduli stabilization scenarios can affect the standard model spectrum in such compactifications ...

Metric and Topological Aspects of the Symmetric Group of Countable Degree
This is a short and elegant survey on the topology on the symmetric group on a countable set. The paper includes some applications of Haar measure, a discussion of cofinitary permutation groups (that is, groups where every non-identity element has just finitely many fixed points), and an infinitary version of ideas of Maillet, with connections with ...

Aspects of the topological dynamics of sparse graph automorphism groups
We examine sparse graph automorphism groups from the perspective of the Kechris-Pestov-Todorčević (KPT) correspondence. The sparse graphs that we discuss are Hrushovski constructions: we consider the 'ab initio’ Hrushovski construction M_0, the Fraïssé limit of the class of 2-sparse graphs with self-sufficient closure; M_1, a simplified version of M_0;

Microstructure Evolution of a VMnFeCoNi High‐Entropy Alloy After Synthesis, Swaging, and Annealing
The synthesis and processing (rotary swaging and annealing) of the novel VMnFeCoNi alloy is investigated, alongside the estimation of the grain size effect on hardness. Analysis of a wide grain size range of recrystallized microstructures (12–210 µm) reveals a low annealing twin density.

An Algebraic Approach of Topological Indices Connected with Finite Quasigroups
In mathematical chemistry, the algebraic polynomial serves as essential for calculating the most accurate expressions of distance-based, degree-distance-based, and degree-based topological indices.

In this paper, we propose a novel strategy for the synthesis and the classification of nonsmooth limit cycles and its bifurcations (named Non-Standard Bifurcations or Discontinuity Induced Bifurcations or DIBs) in n-dimensional piecewise-smooth dynamical
