Affine Graphs and their Topological Indices [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
Graphs are essential tools to illustrate relationships in given datasets visually. Therefore, generating graphs from another concept is very useful to understand it comprehensively. This paper will introduce a new yet simple method to obtain a graph from any finite affine plane.

On Topological Indices of mth Chain Hex-Derived Network of Third Type

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2020
In theoretical chemistry, the numerical parameters that are used to characterize the molecular topology of graphs are called topological indices. Several physical and chemical properties like boiling point, entropy, heat formation, and vaporization ...

The topological structure of the vortices in the O(n) symmetric TDGL model

open access: yes, 1998
In the light of $\phi $--mapping method and topological current theory, the topological structure of the vortex state in TDGL model and the topological quantization of the vortex topological charges are investigated.

M-Polynomials and Topological Indices of Dominating David Derived Networks

open access: yesOpen Chemistry, 2018
There is a strong relationship between the chemical characteristics of chemical compounds and their molecular structures. Topological indices are numerical values associated with the chemical molecular graphs that help to understand the physical features,

On Molecular Descriptors of Carbon Nanocones

open access: yesBiomolecules, 2018
Many degree-based topological indices can be obtained from the closed-off M-polynomial of a carbon nanocone. These topological indices are numerical parameters that are associated with a structure and, in combination, determine the properties of the ...

Reconfigurable Three‐Dimensional Superconducting Nanoarchitectures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
3D superconducting nanostructures offer new possibilities for emergent physical phenomena. However, fabricating complex geometries remains challenging. Here 3D nanoprinting of complex 3D superconducting nanoarchitectures is established. As well as propagating superconducting vortices in 3D, anisotropic superconducting properties with geometric ...

A novel representation of RNA secondary structure based on element-contact graphs

open access: yesBMC Bioinformatics, 2008
Background Depending on their specific structures, noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs) play important roles in many biological processes. Interest in developing new topological indices based on RNA graphs has been revived in recent years, as such indices can be used

Bulk-Edge correspondence for two-dimensional Floquet topological insulators

open access: yes, 2018
Floquet topological insulators describe independent electrons on a lattice driven out of equilibrium by a time-periodic Hamiltonian, beyond the usual adiabatic approximation.

Degree-Based Topological Indices

open access: yesCroatica Chemica Acta, 2013
The degree of a vertex of a molecular graph is the number of first neighbors of this vertex. A large number of molecular-graph-based structure descriptors (topological indices) have been conceived, depending on vertex degrees. We summarize their main properties, and provide a critical comparative study thereof.

Positive‐Tone Nanolithography of Antimony Trisulfide with Femtosecond Laser Wet‐Etching

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A butyldithiocarbamic acid (BDCA) etchant is used to fabricate various micro‐ and nanoscale structures on amorphous antimony trisulfide (a‐Sb2S3) thin film via femtosecond laser etching. Numerical analysis and experimental results elucidate the patterning mechanism on gold (reflective) and quartz (transmissive) substrates.
