Quasi-one-dimensional topological material Bi4X4(X=Br,I)
Bismuth halogenides, a family of quasi-one-dimensional (1D) materials, including α and α phases of Bi4Br4 and Bi4I4, have been predicted to exhibit rich and interesting topological properties.

Topological magnon insulator in insulating ferromagnet [PDF]
In the ferromagnetic insulator with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction, we theoretically predict and numerically verify a topological magnon insulator, where the charge-free magnon is topologically protected to transport along the edge while it is insulating in the bulk.

Quantum phase transitions in the Kane-Mele-Hubbard model
We study the two-dimensional Kane-Mele-Hubbard model at half filling by means of quantum Monte Carlo simulations. We present a refined phase boundary for the quantum spin liquid.

Gapless Dirac surface states in the antiferromagnetic topological insulator MnBi2Te4 [PDF]
A topological insulator can be converted to an axion insulator when time reversal symmetry is broken, which leads to the opening of a gap in the Dirac surface state.

Quasi-Topological Insulator and Trigonal Warping in Gated Bilayer Silicene
Bilayer silicene has richer physical properties than bilayer graphene due to its buckled structure together with its trigonal symmetric structure.

Higher-Order Topological Insulator in Twisted Bilayer Graphene. [PDF]
Higher-order topological insulators are newly proposed topological phases of matter, whose bulk topology manifests as localized modes at two- or higher-dimensional lower boundaries.

Synchrotron Radiation for Quantum Technology
Materials and interfaces underpin quantum technologies, with synchrotron and FEL methods key to understanding and optimizing them. Advances span superconducting and semiconducting qubits, 2D materials, and topological systems, where strain, defects, and interfaces govern performance.
