Studying the Outcomes and Mechanisms of Carbocationic Rearrangements Using Algorithm‐Augmented Experimentation

open access: yesChemistryEurope, EarlyView.
HopCat, a hybrid algorithm combining rule‐based transformations with quantum‐informed kinetics, can be applied to acid‐catalyzed terpenoid rearrangements. In synergy with human chemists and nuclear magnetic resonance analysis, it facilitates product assignment, candidate selection, and reconstruction of complex mechanistic pathways.

Quantum-metric-induced nonlinear transport in a topological antiferromagnet

Nature, 2023
Quantum-metric-induced nonlinear transport, including the nonlinear anomalous Hall effect and a diode-like response, is observed in thin films of a topological antiferromagnet, providing a means to design magnetic nonlinear devices.

Spin-Chirality-Driven Quantum Anomalous and Quantum Topological Hall Effects in Chiral Magnets.

Nano letters (Print), 2023
The quantum anomalous Hall effect (QAHE) is a highly researched topic in condensed matter physics due to its ability to enable dissipationless transport. Previous studies have mainly focused on the ferromagnetic QAHE, which arises from the combination of
