Ng#-Irresolvable and Strongly Ng#-Irresolvable Spaces in Neutrosophic Topological Spaces

open access: yesNeutrosophic Sets and Systems
The notion of breaking down a topological space into smaller, disjoint subsets is the basis for the topological concepts of ‘resolvable space’ and ‘irresolvable space’.

The topological structure of (homogeneous) spaces and groups with countable cs∗-character

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2004
In this paper we introduce and study three new cardinal topological invariants called the cs∗-, cs-, and sb-characters. The class of topological spaces with countable cs∗-character is closed under many topological operations and contains all N-spaces and

Spin and Charge Control of Topological End States in Chiral Graphene Nanoribbons on a 2D Ferromagnet

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Chiral graphene nanoribbons on a ferromagnetic gadolinium‐gold surface alloy display tunable spin and charge states at their termini. Atomic work function variations and exchange fields enabe transitions between singlet, doublet, and triplet configurations.

*—Inductive limits and partition of unity

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1989
In this note we define and discuss some properties of partition of unity on *-inductive limits of topological vector spaces. We prove that if a partition of unity exists on a *-inductive limit space of a collection of topological vector spaces, then it ...

Microscopic Insights into Magnetic Warping and Time‐Reversal Symmetry Breaking in Topological Surface States of Rare‐Earth‐Doped Bi2Te3

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic doping of the topological insulator Bi2Te3 with erbium adatoms induces out‐of‐plane magnetism and breaks time‐reversal symmetry, opening a Dirac gap and driving a Fermi surface transition from hexagonal to star‐of‐David geometry. Microscopy, spectroscopy, and magnetic dichroism reveal atomically controlled magnetic interactions that tailor the

Unifying Concepts in Topology: Analyzing Sg∗-Open and Sg∗-Closed Sets in Generalized Primal Topological Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics
This research introduces the concept of Sg∗-open and Sg∗-closed sets within the framework of primal topological spaces, extending the existing body of knowledge in topology. Initially, this paper reviews fundamental topological structures, including open

L-fuzzifying topological vector spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2005
The main purpose of this paper is to introduce a concept of L-fuzzifying topological vector spaces (here L is a completely distributive lattice) and study some of their basic properties.

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

Topological properties of generalized Wallman spaces and lattice relations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1996
Let X be an abstract set and ℒ be a lattice of subsets of X. Associated with the pair (X,ℒ) are a variety of Wallman-type topological spaces. Some of these spaces generalize very important topological spaces such as the Stone-Čech compactification ...

Flexoelectrically Induced Polar Topology in Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Twisted SrTiO3 bilayers host polar vortices of flexoelectric origin, revealed through combined experiment and theory. By reconstructing polarization from the toroidal moment of strain gradients, the work establishes a 3D chiral state with broken inversion and mirror symmetries.
