A Study on Topological Space for an Ideal Topological Space

open access: yesSouth Asian Journal of Engineering and Technology
An ideal topological space is a triplet (X, τ, ℑ), where X is a nonempty set, τ is a topology on X, and ℑ is an ideal of subsets of X. In this paper, we introduce L∗-perfect, R∗-perfect, and C∗-perfect sets in ideal spaces and study their properties. We obtained a characterization for compatible ideals via R∗-perfect sets. Also, we obtain a generalized

A-topology for Minkowski space [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of the Australian Mathematical Society. Series B. Applied Mathematics, 1979
AbstractWe consider in this paper a topology (which we call the A-topology) on Minkowski space, the four-dimensional space–time continuum of special relativity and derive its group of homeomorphisms. We define the A-topology to be the finest topology on Minkowski space with respect to which the induced topology on time-like and light-like lines is one ...

*—Inductive limits and partition of unity

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1989
In this note we define and discuss some properties of partition of unity on *-inductive limits of topological vector spaces. We prove that if a partition of unity exists on a *-inductive limit space of a collection of topological vector spaces, then it ...

Study on covering rough sets with topological methods

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, 2019
The authors study the covering rough sets by topological methods. They combine the covering rough sets and topological spaces by means of defining some new types of spaces called covering rough topological (CRT) spaces based on neighbourhoods or ...

Ng#-Irresolvable and Strongly Ng#-Irresolvable Spaces in Neutrosophic Topological Spaces

open access: yesNeutrosophic Sets and Systems
The notion of breaking down a topological space into smaller, disjoint subsets is the basis for the topological concepts of ‘resolvable space’ and ‘irresolvable space’.

L-Fuzzy Connectedness in Stratified Order-Preserving Operator Spaces

open access: yesAdvances in Fuzzy Systems, 2012
The concepts of stratified order-preserving operators and stratified continuity are introduced in L-fuzzy topological spaces. Their basic properties are discussed, and their characteristic properties are observed.

Fuzzy Soft Compact Topological Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2016
In this paper, we have studied compactness in fuzzy soft topological spaces which is a generalization of the corresponding concept by R. Lowen in the case of fuzzy topological spaces. Several basic desirable results have been established.

Topology of Misorientation Spaces

open access: yesProceedings of the Steklov Institute of Mathematics
Let $G_1$ and $G_2$ be discrete subgroups of $SO(3)$. The double quotients of the form $X(G_1,G_2)=G_1\backslash SO(3)/G_2$ were introduced in material science under the name misorientation spaces. In this paper we review several known results that allow to study topology of misorientation spaces.

Unifying Concepts in Topology: Analyzing Sg∗-Open and Sg∗-Closed Sets in Generalized Primal Topological Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics
This research introduces the concept of Sg∗-open and Sg∗-closed sets within the framework of primal topological spaces, extending the existing body of knowledge in topology. Initially, this paper reviews fundamental topological structures, including open

L-fuzzifying topological vector spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2005
The main purpose of this paper is to introduce a concept of L-fuzzifying topological vector spaces (here L is a completely distributive lattice) and study some of their basic properties.
