Resonant Domain Wall Dynamics in a Three‐Dimensional Magnetic Nano Double Helix

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
3D magnetic nanostructures promise exciting possibilities for magnetization dynamics. However, experimental realizations remain scarce. In nanoprinted cobalt double helices, time‐resolved X‐ray microscopy reveals harmonic domain wall dynamics. Simulations identify the mode and additional higher‐frequency resonances, revealing a rich dynamic landscape ...

Universal topological classes of black holes surrounded by quintessence

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
This work explores the universal topological classes of various black hole configurations immersed in a quintessence field. The results indicate that the Schwarzschild black hole surrounded by quintessence is of the $$W^{1-}$$ W 1 - type, exhibiting ...

A Super‐Adhesive Air Filter With Capillarity‐Mediated Spontaneous Particle Absorption via Dynamic Bond Exchange

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We address the inherently weak particle adhesion of conventional air filters by coating a dynamically crosslinked adhesive layer that delivers capillarity‐driven strong adhesion and particle absorption mediated by dynamic bond exchange. The resulting enhancement in particle adhesion enables efficient ultrafast (up to 20 m s−1) and omnidirectional ...

Phase Engineering of Nanomaterials (PEN): Evolution, Current Challenges, and Future Opportunities

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review summarizes the synthesis, phase transition, advanced characterization spanning ex situ to in situ and operando techniques, and diverse applications of phase engineering of nanomaterials (PEN). It further outlines key challenges and future opportunities, such as phase stability, architecture control, and artificial intelligence (AI)‐driven ...

Protected Chaos in a Topological Lattice

open access: yesAdvanced Science
The erratic nature of chaotic behavior is thought to erode the stability of periodic behavior, including topological oscillations. However, it is discovered that in the presence of chaos, non‐trivial topology not only endures but also provides robust ...

Sea Urchin‐Inspired Immuno‐Instructive Ionic Flow Drives MSCs‐Macrophage Communication to Promote Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Bone tissue regeneration is a complex physiological process dependent on the spatiotemporal coordination of immune cells and stem cells. Conventional research primarily elucidates the mechanism through which materials facilitate bone formation by initially modulating macrophages and subsequently encouraging the osteogenic differentiation of ...

Lyapunov functions and topological stability

open access: yesJournal of Differential Equations, 1980
This paper contains some results on topological stability (see [2, 31) that generalize those obtained in [2] much in the same way as Lyapunov’s direct theorem generalizes the asymptotic stability results of the hyperbolic case: if at a critical point, the linear part of a vector field has proper values with negative real parts, the point is ...

Microwave Absorption for Detection of Dirac Fermions in SnTe Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Microwave absorption can detect Dirac fermions in samples exposed to the atmosphere. Results showed that although topological surface states are robust against environmental degradation, they are not detectable by electrical transport measurements. Hence, microwave absorption can detect Dirac fermions even in samples whose surfaces have deteriorated ...

Room-temperature creation and conversion of individual skyrmion bags in magnetic multilayered disks

open access: yesNature Communications
Skyrmion bags, with arbitrary topological charge Q, have recently attracted much interest, since such high-Q topological systems could open a way for topological magnetism research and are promising for spintronic applications with high flexibility for ...

Topological Point Defects in SmC* Liquid Crystals Under Mechanical Disturbance

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Tangetial air jet shear inducess island formation and nucleates topological point defects in uniform SmC films. Island bounded by edge dislocation loops shrink and transform into isolated point defects under continued shear. Mechanical perturbatio provides a controllable route for defect engineering in smectric liquid crystal thin films.
